SNOW SKILLS

We can provide either 1-2 day snow skills training based up at Mt Dobson Ski Field, which is around 1 hour from Peel Forest. We can develop a programme to meet your desired outcomes, which could include:

Walking in the snow
Self arresting skills
Route finding including recognising avalanche terrain
Go on a bit of a journey
Crampon skills (if appropriate)
Snow caving (overnight trips only)
Avalanche transceiver skills – including digging, probe techniques
