PEEL FOREST HOLIDAY PROGRAM October 2020

FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS

Wednesday 7th Oct – Acland Falls and Orienteering (Students 8 years and above)                                             Cost: $30

Spend the morning going on a bush walk to Acland Falls and the big tree (an amazing 1000 year old Totara tree), returning to Clarke Flat for lunch.  Then have a go on the orienteering course from there – learning about how to read a map and then putting your skills to the test in teams.

Minimum numbers: 7 students,

Thursday 8th Oct – Orari River Adventure day (Students 10 years and above)                                                 Cost: $50

Take part in an action-packed day and have some fun in the water! With an abseil into a canyon/river, waterfall jump/kayak and a river safe program this is often a real highlight for students.

Minimum numbers: 10 students

Friday 9th Oct – Master-chef Pizza and Creative Cooking (Students 8 years and above)                 Cost: $40

We will spend the day getting creative with cooking. Bring along a small empty tuna can and learn how to make your own cooker. We will also get the pizza oven cranking – so students can put there cooking skills to the test with making their own pizza…  Bring along your own toppings (we will provide pizza bases and paste). 

Minimum numbers: 10 students

Transport will be made available daily from Geraldine meeting at Kennedy park gate by Geraldine High school. The bus will leave at 8.30am and arrive back at 4pm daily. It will be an additional charge of $5 per day for transportation per student.
