Located in South Canterbury, close to Geraldine, the Peel Forest Outdoor Centre is easy to reach from:

- SH1 between Ashburton & Timaru
- SH72 the Inland Scenic Route
- SH79 from Mt Cook/Fairlie.

From the North

 

Head down State Highway 1 until you reach Rakaia.  At the Mobil Station, turn right and follow the signs for Geraldine along .  Once you cross the Rangitata River, turn right and follow the signs for Peel Forest.

From the South

Travel up State Highway 1 until you reach Rangitata.  Turn left towards Geraldine.  At the Orari Bridge turn right at the signpost for Peel Forest.  Then left 5 kilometres later, again signposted.  Follow the road to Peel Forest
